To stay in or go out

Drowned in a list of things to do
Juggling work with party and blues
Whether to sleep or study or eat food
It is always a choice

It’s a choice to stay in or go out
To accept defeat or go for it all out
To upgrade yourself or rust your soul
To pick a fight or let it go

It’s a choice to walk in or walk out
To run to help or find a spot to hide out
To learn to care or write a book of excuses
To find faults or learn to stitch heartbreaks

It’s a choice we make everyday
For what we want to do with given 24
Is still ours to make or break
I wonder if we look at that way
