Warning Sign

Now deep in the middle, the surroundings are misty,
Screaming for help in this void, my voice is turning rusty.

I must have missed the warning sign,
Into a restricted zone I went too far, it was my crime,
Now deep in the middle, the surroundings are misty,
Screaming for help in this void, my voice is turning rusty.
 ***
Trusting by nature, now it is time to repay,
All of my dark closet fears becoming real today,
I see a stranger, I want to trust and hold his hand,
But he must have heard my screams, yet there he stands.
***
Dark thoughts are clouding my judgment again,
Dreams and hopes, once lost can’t be reclaimed,
I know there should be a warrior inside of me too,
Alas, I have lost its activation key in distress, now time flew.
 ***
Slowly turning cynical, maybe I did see the warning sign,
I was naive to believe I was immune from its design,
Now I am eager to pay the price for my crime,
Maybe the next step will put me on top of a fatal mine.

Just tried to give some shape to my random worried thoughts.
