A Hit Movie

Those old time feelings,
Those expressionless talks,
Those misinterpreted remarks,
Just a look and then we pass.

Those unexplained looks,
Those hurtful remarks,
Those silent eye contacts,
No words, just thoughts.

Those old time feelings,
Those expressionless talks,
Those misinterpreted remarks,
Just a look and then we pass.

Those in between recklessness,
Those miscommunicated togetherness,
Those fake cheerful replies,
Teary heart but dried eyes.

Why this two faced attitude,
Why the theatrical play, take two!
So much confusion,
Around with no solution.

Is this how it is supposed to be?
Is this how it’s gonna be?
To mark the end of our story,
Hidden feelings, a hit sad movie!

  1. Well done. Why is so easy for some people to be hurtful and not loving? For me the best part of this is the questions towards the end, “Is this how it is supposed to be? Is this how it’s gonna be?” That sudden realization by the heroine that makes this such an empowering piece. It isn’t until we question ‘is this how we are supposed to be love, that we realize perhaps we are not in the right relationship. Bravo.
